Summative Assessment: The Black Death
In our summative assessment we had to make museum exhibit and do it on a cardboard box with 3 sides. It had to be about any major topic like WW2, The Holocaust or The Black Death. Mine was about The Black Death.
So first, before we made this, it was on a holiday. So, I got one at Wellcome, and then I went home. Then, the next day at school we started to do our research, and then when we were done researching, we started the real project on the cardboard. So when we started, I put black paper over the cardboard because it’s ” The Black Plague”. But before that I got a sheet with our jot notes on them.
So then, we went on Microsoft Word or Keynote to turn your jot notes in to paragraphs. I personally used keynote because there were more effects, like the background could be black which fits my topic. After that, we got our pictures of course, and pasted it on our black sheet or paper.
What went well on my project was that I think I got enough information. What I did bad on, was that I didn’t provide enough pictures, it was not completed and there is a huge space in the middle.
I show the understanding of the central idea because I used the two concepts. Perspective and Responsibility.
If I could do this again, I would spend more time doing it.
