Since we have started our ” Who We Are” unit, on changes that happen in the human body, factors that cause those changes, and actions that can affect personal well- being, Mr. Brown decided to do a 5E human body quiz. We had to make 6-7 questions that were based on our lines of inquiry. I worked with my partner to make lots of different questions. A few of them were:
- What is the name of the gland/ organ in the female body which produces the hormones?
-What is the name of the master gland located in the brain which controls all the hormone producing?
-What is the genetic reason for which a girl does not go through the changes of puberty?
We had 4 rounds each consisting of 10 questions, and 1 round consisting of 9 questions. In the middle of each round, there was a speed round in which we were made to answer questions in 1/2 minutes. In the end, the team called “Deathstar” won, with very close results (photo below from Mr. Brown’s blog):
I really enjoyed the challenge, and I liked answering the questions too. I hope that we do this again!!!
