I chose this photo because I was born in the winter, and I think that whoever took this photo must have incredible skill and patience to take a close- up photo of this bird. I love how the colors contrast, and how the bird stands out from the blurred background. To me, it looks as if the bird is thinking something. I wonder what?

I love this photo, too! The bird is beautiful, and with the snow and the bright blue background, I can almost feel and smell the crisp, clean air!
