Week Reflection

This week was very busy and there was a lot of things to do, and a lot of things that happened.

On Wednesday, we finished our last summative assessment for our last unit. The Summative Assessment was that we had to choose a article from the UNCRC doc and we had to find 1, 2 or 4 case studies, then we had to explain the actions, causes and effects. I thought it was quite hard. I chose 2 case studies from the article #32. We also had a hip hop dance that day, for Festival of the Arts, we learnt a dance and other cool moves.

On Thursday, we started our new unit, it’s about the changes that the body goes through. With our table groups, we had to trace a persons body and then we had to name the parts of the body that we knew.. We also got to do mosaics, we broke glass and we got to stick them together to make a mosaic. We also had a talk about our last unit from a guy named Scott Lee, he helps kids play football, but also helps them stay away from landmines, he also has a website called SpiritofSoccer.net.

Today (Friday), we had another hip hop class, we learnt another part of the dance that we learnt on Wednesday. It was just a normal day. But one of our tasks was to put down situations that can cause change in your body on a label, then we had to cut it out and stick in in categories on a piece of paper.

This week was really fun. I thought the hip hop and making the mosaic was fun too. And I hope we get to do some interesting things next week.

You can see the pictures of our hip hop dance here.
