What makes a good public space?

Hey you guys! Today our teacher, Mr. Humphrey, told us that in our blog we have to type about what are good public spaces. Here are some ideas of what are good public spaces:

What makes a good public space?

A good public space must be where people can relax such as in a park or where people can read like in a library. Public spaces can also be where people can learn such as in a school or where people can walk like on a street.

Public spaces do have different uses. Public spaces must be where anyone can go which, in other words, means the public spaces must be accessible. Public spaces must also provide or allow people to do and have activities and is a place where it gives a comfortable feeling and also where people meet friends or relatives. For example, streets, parks and toilets are public spaces. An example of a public space is a beach, however, it depends on what kind of beach it is. If it is a private beach then it is not included as a public space and if it’s a local beach it’s included.

PE Questions

What does sportsmanship mean to you/look like to you? Give some examples.

Sportsmanship means to me that when you played a game but you losed don’t like say anything offending like ” Those guys won because they got lots of good people in their team.”. Sportsmanship is defined as: Playing fair, following the rules of the game, respecting the judgment of referees and officials and treating opponents with respect.

Why is it important to follow the rules of a game?

I’f you don’t follow the rules there might be a punishment like doing 100 pushups (that’s horrible!) or something else, also there could also be conflict like fighting which do not want to get into.
