I have been walking up and down the hill to access the South Island Line recently.
Commuting to school via MTR is both more reliable and healthier than taking the bus. Walking up the hill means it’s much easier to meet my target of 7000 steps a day, and the new MTR line means I get to sleep in a bit more all the while not worrying about missing the bus.
I’ve also found that walking up the hill has helped me become more energised in the morning, especially for first period classes as it gets my heart pumping faster.
I will soon be dropping my bus subscription so I can fully switch to the MTR.
