The grade 5d Dynamo

Before camp we rote what we wanted in our room on a paper. The people that are in your room are also in your group. On  we went to camp it was about a 6 hour bus ride not including the border. From Hong Kong to the bored of China it was 2 and a half hours the border took like 1 hour to get throw. Then it took 4 hours to get to the camp but the traffic took like 30 min so we arrived late.

Since we arrived late to camp the activities change. So the activities didn’t mach the day planer. So every group did something no other group did. The camp was fun here are something I did.

-Hiking

-Mountain zip line

-Chinese panting

-Dragonfly challenge

-Ink stone.

Now I will explain the activities. Hiking is jogging up a mountain. The we went down the mountain by mountain zip line. Mountain zip line is where we go on a brig or rope by hooking on a rope and going on a brig or rope if we fall the hook on the rope will stop us from falling in the water. Chinese patting is when we have a special paper and pant. Some Chinese patting are colored some are black and white mostly black and white. So we did one colored and one black and white. In my opinion the colored on was easier. The color one was about a crane and the black and white was about a small temple in the middle of a grassland. In the dragonfly challenge has lost of activities in it like acting out a movie, dancing, acting out a machine and much more. Ink stone is where they get a stone from a under water cave and draw on it with a knife.

I think that grade 6 camp was fun but the bus ride is too long. I think that grade 6 camp was better than grade 5 camp but not better then grade 4 camp.

Day1: On monday 10 november 2012 the young americans came to CDNIS. They had 7hour and 30min each day for 3 day to teach us a 1 to 2 hour performances. They gave us 10min to learn the moves of one song. Then we will practices for the rest of the day.

Day2: On tuesday we learned 2 new songs called don’t stop believing and let it be. we practice till launch then we played some games. Most of us learned the 2 songs on that day. At launch we had to bring our own food or get school launch. But at recess we got free food. Our launch and recess is at a different time because of the young americans. Our recess is at 10:15am and our launch ends at 1:00. But usually it is recess 9:10am and lunch 11:00am.

Day3: On wednesday we learned the lion king dance we practice until recess. Then we practice the performance in oder until lunch. After lunch we had a dress rehearsal with the grade5. The dress rehearsal it was about 1hour long. After the dress rehearsal some people went home to change some stayed at school and change with the cloth in there backpack. then almost everyone came to school at 5:40pm. When it was 6:00pm everyone would go to there classroom and play games until 6:15pm. At 6:15pm all the classroom would go to the LLAC for the performance. At 6:30pm the play started and all of the the young americans did a play till 7:00pm. Then at 7:00pm all of the grade6 will do there performance till around 8:00pm. At around 8:00pm the play ended and all of the grade6 went home.

I think this was a 4 and a half star play and I think that all of the grade6 did a good job.

Today is Friday 5 October 2012. I am in grade 6 All of the posts below this post are from grade 5. A ll of them on top of this post are all the Post from grade 6.

First of all I have been in G6D for six weeks. Our first unit of unquiry has just finished. It is about how values can cause conflict depending on how you choose to accept it.  We learnt  new strategy which is using a type of bird to resolve the conflict.  Like the wood pecker is noisey and independent.

Hi we just started our new unit it is about the human body. We started last week and we are doing nerves and are about to go to puberty. The unit is not all about puberty but how the human body changes though out being a baby going to puberty then adult then old-age but it is mostly about puberty.

On a 5D google dock 5D put all the interesting fact that they knew and my one is You can sneeze as fast as 300 km but my favorit one is You are taller in the morning then you are in the afternoon.

In old-age your body turns weker so you are most likely to get sick that is why you mostly die in old age.

Me and my class are doing all the sytums in a workbook so that when we go to puberty we know more about it.

This is a photo made by dynamo 17. It was made on 5-9-12. The photo is a creeper wich is mob that explode in a game called Minecraft. In Minecraft you can play on creative wich lets you fly and gives you unlimited supplies so you can build what you want. You can also go on survival wich you have to kill cows for food mine for ston like if you where stranded on a iland. So I build it on Minecraft because it is easy and fast. The block I used is white black and green wool.

This year me and grad 5 did a PSA. The PSA stand for public servis announcement. to see my PSA go to the link at the bottum of the page. Our unit is about sharing the plant wich is like children right. There is 40 article to couse from I chose 31 wich is children have the right to play. On my vido I have Stykz clips from youtube and lost of true info. the video is 1:01 m. I think that it is a short video that  you will like. If you see any mistake or anything can you tell me by a comment. When you see the video at the bottom of the post and also think about if you have all the thing these kids have and all the stuff you have. Most of those kids live in pastan where there still is children slaves. If you have a PSA or something can you tell me with a comment and I will give you advice. I think this is good PSA and I am rally exited and pored about it I cant wait until you wach it.  Our unit is about children right and that is why grade 5 made a PSA about children right. Every one picked a right. In this unit I learned all the human right and why they important. My questions are who made human right and how did it starte.

Today was the day that the SLLR happend it i a thing where you go to your classroom and show your parents your work.

Today I enjoyed going though your work because I like to share my comments and ideas with you. I like to have a conversation about your learning experience. I see you enjoy your classroom and teacher. Good job on your S.L.L.R.

This Easter holiday, Dynamo 20 got a guinea pig. His sister got to pick  the guinea pig and it was the bigest and fatest one there was. The fat guinea pig in the  photo is like the size of the guinea pig dynamo 20 sister got. I think it is funny that they got a fat and big guinea pig

On 13-12-11 between 8:20 and 12:29 am. C.D.N.I.S. grade 5 students and teachers and some moms went ice- skating. The skating rink was at the Elements Mall. The ice rink was like a hokey pitch. Elements is a big mall in Hong Kong. It didn’t have a huge stand like a hockey pitch does or anything like that. The ice was white like all other ice rinks I have been to.  I fell around 3 to 5 times. It was bright and there was music playing. Skating at Elements is fun and I hope you can go to.

One day in C.D.N.I.S. 5D and me watched  National Treasure. It was about this family that has a family treasure. The carters names are Ben and Rilley they find the treasure and gave it to the government and the government bought them a manshon and 2 car’s. We watched this movie because it is related to are unit of inqery called where we are in place and time witch is also history.  that is why we watched  National Treasure.

Review:

The artifact game in 5D  is a game when we look at a photo that our teacher puts on. The photo is something that is found and it was from a long time ago. Then you lock at the photo and try to anser who, what and why give a good ges and tell them what you think it might be.

This October break I stayed in Hong Kong. It started on Saturday. On Saturday I had a soccer mach I lost 5 to 1. On Sunday I went to rugby training. Every weekday I played tennis. On the 20 I had rube training. Then on Friday I had a tennis mach I came first in single and third in double. On Saturday I went to soccer training. Then on sunday I went to ruby training.

That is all I did this october break.

On 9-27-11 5d went to art jamming we all had a main color was black. It was fun going to art jamming. I got to use new tools that I never used. I was happy about what I pated. My patting was a storm and a guy in his house.

sep 23,11 we learned about Walls of Wisdom. It is a charity that donates money to poor countries and builds schools for them.

So we are giving some money to Building Walls of Wisdom. Our class might have a sale to donate some money to them. I think the best way to raise money is a bake sale or rummage sale. The goal that my class has is 300 US dollars or more because then our class can be featured on the Building Walls of Wisdom blog.

I think it is a helpful charity.
