Fractions Glossary

Operations with fractions- addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with fractions.

Mixed numbers- A whole with a fraction such as 3 1/4  which is 3 and 1/4th.

Improper fraction- an improper fraction is when the numerator is larger than the denominator like 16/15.
