This post is about the PSA we have done for the summative task in this unit.
A PSA is Public Service Announcement, which tells people something or leaves them a message to take action. The reason why we did a PSA is because of our unit (which is about Child Rights) and it tells people to take action and help children all around the world who don’t always have their full rights. My PSA is about Child Right Article #2, which states that any child, no matter what religion, what nationality, what bloodline, gets their rights.
Our unit is about Child Rights (as I said before) and children around the world. It’s also about how some children don’t have their rights, and how they don’t get opportunities like us. Some don’t go to school, some don’t have enough clean water and food, and some are slaves working for harsh, cruel masters. In this UOI (unit of inquiry), I’ve learnt that even though you are disabled, poor or rich you deserve these rights. I’ve also learnt how people in different places in the world live, and what they eat and do all day. The thing most important that I’ve learnt though, is the fact that even though there is so much unfairness in the world, we can make a difference, and help children around the world who don’t get the same opportunities as us, and take action. The questions I’d still like to ask are how we can help children other then donating, and how we can make enough of a difference to change the world.
I think that I’ve demonstrated my responsibility that I have by making my PSA. My responsibility is to help other children around the world like me, but in poverty, or with serious diseases, because I am just like them. A child. So it’s what I have to do if I get the chance and I think that it’s really important, because by taking action, I can help children around the world, and that’s what I want to do.

It is obvious that you understand the purpose of a public service announcement and I think both your style and design elements that you used to create your own psa really demonstrate this understanding. I also think your message is really well presented. You’ve shown solid creating and editing skills using technology!
Overall, your final psa project and your reflection both exceed the expectations of this summative task. You can be very proud of this work and the effort that you have invested within it. Your understanding of this unit of inquiry, plus expertise with technology, individuality and creativity matched the high expectations of this unit. Outstanding work!
