When you hear that, it might sound like you want to throw art into the garbage can. But were doing the opposite. Instead, were turning trash into art. Our class just started a project on this, and we all have to pick one specific type of trash to make our sculpture out of. I’m going to do cracker or cookie plastic wrappers. We need to collect as many as we needĀ because, (as you can imagine) were going to need a lot to make a sculpture. Each sculpture will have a message: mine is to stop throwing garbage everywhere as animals can easily choke on it. Every message needs to relate to our unit, which is about waste management. My sculpture will be a big white tiger choking on a plastic wrapper. We haven’t started making our sculpture yet, but we will soon. I can’t wait!
