The Island Chapter # 1

The  11-year-old secret agent Connor Steel is going on a stealth mission to attack a military bomb facility that had just been taken over by a terrorist group. On his mission he had taken two other boys the same age as him their names were Rat Morgan and Chris Henderson.

They were about to start the mission but there was a delayed due to a storm. They were running out of time so they chose to fly.  On the plane they were given 1 package each which included 1 silenced 9 mm pistol with 10 ammo clips, a British Commando Sten machine gun, 10 different types of grenades, a knife, explosives and 1 radio each. They were all nervous as they were getting closer to jumping out of the plane. As they were about to  jump Connor shouted “good luck” to his friends they were running up to jump when the plane hit turbulence and knocked Connor to the opposite side of the plane and he ended up getting forced out by wind.

It had just turned dark outside and Chris and Rat could barely see the beach as they landed. They were on the ground but they thought something had gone wrong with Connor’s parachute when he jumped and thought he landed somewhere in the facility. Rat was worried, and said,” I hope he is ok”. They got their gear out and then used their pistols and headed for the back gate to shoot the guards.

Connor had landed on the roof of the control tower a minute later and saw chris and Rat packing up. Connor counted 5 guards in the building there was to many to shoot so he took a sleep gas grenade out of his pack and rolled it into the control room which should keep them asleep for 5 hours. Chris and Rat were now in the bushes a hundred meters away from the gate and had spotted Connor and what Connor had done with the sleep grenade. They counted 10 guards and tossed 2 more sleep grenades at the guards. When the guards fell to the ground Chris thought he was fine to enter the back gate. Then he heard the sound of two silenced bangs and froze, expecting to feel the pain of the bullets. He opened his eyes, and saw Rat had shot two guards that had slipped on gas masks. Chris whispered ” thanks” and together they dragged all the guards into a room in the guardhouse.

At the control tower, Connor had taken control of the main computer when Chris and Rat arrived.  There were no more guards in the area yet to be safe they looked at the security camera’s and saw no more guards to threaten their mission, but they still had a lot of work to do in order to destroy the bomb facility…
