Mini MUN

by 053450 on May 30, 2013

We are doing this Mini MUN for my humanities class. This MUN is where we  research for our certain country, find a issues about children, and research about it. After doing all that, we debate on the issues to see will any other delegates agree on the situation. My country is Eritrea. I never heard of this country before. After researching, I realized how poor is this country after it became independent, and how children are living in streets, lack of hunger, child abuse, don’t have proper health care system. There are still more but I an’t imagine how I could live in this country because it is really sad that children are having diseases ands suffering but because they don’t have the facilities to help so they need to suffer until they die. All because this country is really easy for children for getting diseases  because of not getting the right sanitation. I decided to choose first aid for my main issue. First aid is basically health care.

I represent the country Eritrea and I need to gain vote to support my resolution of how to solve this problem. In order to help, I want other delegates help raise money so the government can build new health facilities and hire good doctors to help people in the country defeat the diseases.
