Totem Pole Blessing Ceremony

Yesterday we did a totem pole blessing ceremony for the 2 totem poles in the front entrance of the school. Bill Helin who created the totem poles sang and did a few prayers. Mr. McMaster also did a few prayers and after Bill Helin did a traditional dance from his trop. I thought that this blessing was like a memorial ceremony but it was ok. I did a blessing in front of a roasted pork.
