Sara Holbrook and Michael Salinger came to out school to teach us about poetry writing. Here are the poems I made up:
War means conflict,
and pain comes to mind.
tanks are approaching,
guns are shooting,
air raids alarm through the sky.
People are fleeing for their lives,
“Run, Run save your lives!”
“Roll a dice, pray for life”
War is like this,
where peace doesn’t exists.
By Dennis, Nicholas and Jeffrey
It stood and crossed arms,
It stood tall like a lion standing there.
It is like gold in a gold medal.
Proud is not hiding in a corner ashamed,
instead proud was standing in the spotlight.
