My Digestive System poem

As you probably know we have been doing short tests in class and studying for them using only one strategy. For the digestive system test we had to write a poem to prepare for the test. Read my poem below.

‘Daring as the food enters the body
It gets crushed by the teeth,
Goes through the saliva cleanse,
Esophagus slide is so much fun
Stomach helps squeeze the food,
The stomach helps remove the fat,
It now has reached the small intestine,
Very long and very useful,
Exactly all the nutrients are absorbed,

So now it has reached the liver and pancreas,
Your juices help the breakdown mix,
Soup is now what’s left of food,
The soup now enter the bloodstream,
Enters into the large intestine when thin and watery,
Many waste pile up in the end and now its time to go to the bathroom,’
