This article is about the volcanic islands of Maldives. The ice capes which are melt because of global warming, are flooding the island. Maldives is only 2.4 meters above sea level, and if the water continues to raise at this rate the whole island will flood. The flooding will also cause many other problems, such as sand erosion and more storms.

I think that this is a big problem because it could cause many people homeless. It also causes it to be gone from existing, it would be gone forever and no one will remember. What concerns me the most is that it isn’t even the Maldive fault! Industrialized countries; such as China, are the main creators for global warming, they use fossil fuels and gasoline to power their factories. The Maldives should not suffer for the problem other created.

Picture/Video from the class web do you agree with the jury’s verdict? why or why not? Incude at least 5 facts from evidence that was presented during the trial

I agree with the jury’s verdict because KMT is actually real. I believe this because of the few trials we conducted , such as the food coloring trial. The food colouring was actually had molecules that bounced around causing the food coloring to spread.

What was your job? Explain how you fulfilled your responsibilities.

During the trial I was an expert witness. I was there to prove that KMT wasn’t real. I was called up by the defendant to be cross examined. They asked how the food coloring sank to the bottom and I told them it was because of gravity. They also asked why the food coloring spread. I answered that when the food colouring impacted the water it caused it to break into a million parts. This theory made sense because the solar system was also made the same way.

If you could do a different job during the court case which would you volunteer for and why?

I would be a photographer because I can use a camera.

A few weeks ago. I read a book call “The other Side of Truth.” After reading this book our sumative was to create a movie or presentation on refugees. I choose to do my project on North Korea, and was paired with another class mate.

Since the instructions didn’t allow us to talk while we presented our movie, we had to do a voice recording. My partner selected our voice records and put them into slides. We also had to use a green screen. The green screen was different from the one from last year, since there was a room instead of a cloth this time. We didn’t really know how to use the lights, so our faces were very dark.

I liked how we got to organize our script on a google doc, because it helps us decide who was presenting and what to show in each slide, but I wish there was a longer time to make a movie. One thing that slowed me down the most was that we were also doing our humanities heritage site movie. It was very annoying to find where I put my information because both of them were movies and both used google doc.

My partner and I’s work was separated pretty evenly, but my partner did all the editing on the I-movie, since we did it on his computer and it was a weekend.

In the making of my story I have learned many different skills. I learn skills such as sensory. Sensory is using the five senses to describe something. I also learned how to use dialogue. I learned that there are six/seven different types of dialogue and that can be use. After learning about dialogue, I included it in my story.

I refined my skill of using smiles and metaphors. Such as Then it hit me, like a lightning bolt.I also refine my skill of creative writing, because the last time I wrote something was a long time ago.

If I was to do this again, I were to do this again I would included what feedback I got. I would also add more examples of where I used simile and metaphor.

My model of my bird had some weak points, like the beak. Since the beak is made from a fin layer of newspaper, the beak would flop around and get in the way of things. The wing are also very loose because I taped it on because the glue gun weren’t working. The body was very good, most of the part fitted on perfectly. In the processes of making my bird I worked very hard both at home and also at school. I went to every session that I could go to work on my bird. If I could work on the bird again I would work on how to fit the wings on more.

Hong Kong used to be a very green place, but now since of the development of the country it has turned Penny’s bay into a place called Disney land which no one really likes. It has also forced the pink dolphins breeding ground to the south because they had to choose there to make an airport there. Now they are building a bridge to china which go through the pink dolphins second home which they were forced into. There is an other issue close to our school ocean park is going to expand over the only hill will nature and stuff. Please show your support to go against this act even if you like ocean park.
