Here are my understandings of the interview process.
From The Beginning
To the the very end.
I have more information for the link below, but the people that are included in this have the right to not give me permission to show any information I have recorded about them, so this is the only one I can show you.
That is the interview questions I did to answer my main research question, after i interviewed all the people I needed to do I collect all the information and put them into a table like this:

After this I put all of the information together and make my synthesis, a synthesis is to put all the information together and put them into a paragraph for each interviewee one by one.
Then I make my conclusion, a conclusion, is like the ending, you look at your synthesis and make a few sentences, like an overall summary of all the information you have gathered.
Recently in music class, we are having tests to see if we can continue with our instrument, I play the auto saxophone, so I have to buy my own, not like other people, they have their instrument lent from the school, if we are afraid that we would fall behind, we can have a teacher to teach us outside of school, or which is connected with the school. Here are my results:
In the past unit, ‘How we organize ourselves’, after we interviewed shoppers and shopkeepers in Pacific Place Mall and got the information we wanted, we used our skills that we learned in the beginning of the unit to write our own personal report on Pacific Place. We got feedback from two different people and made changes according to the feedback, we made a final copy and wrote a reflection of the process, the challenges, the best parts, and what we would do next time.
Reflecting on my learning
The process of this event was to write a report based on a specific marketplace called Pacific Place in order to develop a better understanding of the unit, “How we organize ourselves”. The main purpose was to answer a big question related to the unit, the whole class made an agreement of the big research question, as our main researching tools were interviewing, the class also made four main interview questions and were backed up by a ton of supporting questions. We first worked in groups of four because we had a vague understanding, and working in groups helps people in your group that are not as advanced other people in the group, when we write our own report, we do it individually to show our own understanding. This report is to convey the understanding the skills of writing a report, organization skills, and teamwork. After we hand in our reports, we get feedback from our teacher, and make changes based on the feedback, then we give our second draft to the teacher again, lastly, we still get feedback from another teacher and make changes from the feedback the teachers gave us, and we give our final copy.
While I was working on my report, I was very confused from making changes from the feedback, while the first feedback said I was doing a great job, the second feedback said that I needed to improve. I wondered if I was supposed to make changes or not? If I did I might be going from right to wrong or maybe wrong to right.
Another challenge was my spelling and grammar mistakes, I am a bad speller, I tried to do my best but I still got some mistakes, I should not be to independent to much and get someone to look over it and see if there were any mistakes as I know I would get mistakes.
Looking back from when I knew nothing about reports and was asked to do a report in the beginning of the unit and looking at my final copy, I really improved on the skills of writing a report, such as the good use of headings, how a report is organized, using subject-specific-vocabulary, the skills that I learnt was really big evidence of my understanding of writing reports.
When I do such reports like these next time, I would use the skills I learnt and try to make them more detailed, when I get more mistakes I would try and improve them, learn from your mistakes!
In Chinese we have been reflecting on our writing skills, I personally think that I’m ok, but I don’t know much vocabulary, so although my writing skills are ok, I need to practice more on my vocabulary.
