Nation

This time our book club is reading the book “Nation” by Terry Pratchett, I think the book is a little bit challenging but I like it a little bit challenging. The book is about a boy named “Mau”, while he was at sea, a giant wave killed all of his island people, now he is the only one left. He finds a girl named “Daphne”, her ship crashed in Mau’s Island, they slowly communicate and join with other people from different islands. Over time they face lots of challenges and uncover a long-hidden secret that literally turns the world upside down.

I think Mau and Daphne are communicators because when they first met Daphne pointed a gun at Mau but slowly got to know each other because they have different languages and customs, later they got to know each other and become a group.
