Reading Reflection #2

This week I read this book called “Hank Zipzer Barfing In the back seat”. Even though it doesn’t have good grammar or long chapters this book is still funny. My mom thinks these books I read are not good for me (except the good books I’ve read with advanced vocabulary and grammar). The author describes the settings and the characters well in the first book I’ve read in the Hank Zipzer series. My favorite part was when Hank was barfing out the window. That was funny because Hank needed to finish his homework that was not finished in the car, then he was as green as a turtle. He reminds me of me because if I read, write or watch electronics in the car I also get motion sick. The chapters are very short because as I was reading this book I noticed the were chapters with one page. In the book his dad is a crossword geek (that means he always does crossword puzzles even in bed). His mom is quite weird because she always uses weird diet food like tuna mixed with salmon topped with mushroom sauce. His sister is a nerd and at the same time a reptile fan, thats why she has a pet iguana. I really enjoy reading these series, unfortunately all the series are in the U.S.

    Dear Alpha-Adventurer 6,
I have just read your reading reflection and I liked it because you told me about your favourite part. I also liked it because you made a connection with yourself and the character. One thing you could have done to make it better was to write about how other books are connected to this, but you still did a great job.
    Regards,
    Alpha-Adventurer 2
