I think being reflective is important because it allows you to grow and develop yourself. At school, we are often asked to reflect on what we have done well or what we could’ve improved on in every course. This way, we can learn what we we’re good at and start visualising steps to improve. During my academic career, I’ve done a lot of reflections and I think they’re so valuable because you can see your development. In reflections at school, although they’re required I always try to do the best I can and think as deeply and critically as possible. I have to analyse my work objectively because if not, I’m only cheating myself, and I won’t be able to learn from my mistakes.
