“How We Organize Ourselves”

Our new unit is about solid waste management. Our new theme is “How We Organize Ourselves”.   Today I am going to talk about the new unit

Garbage is a really big problem.  Humans don’t really care about it .  There are already 5 garage swirls in the oceans.  Each of them are  twice the size of Texas.  Did you know that about 3 percent of garbage is recycled. Do you know what happen to the rest? I’ll tell you. The rest of them are thrown in the ocean or dump in landfills.  If you ever thought the garbage is gone once it’s in the truck you’re wrong. Same thing happens. It’s going to the ocean or landfills.

I think that I am going to learn where and why garbage is thrown. I think I am also going to learn how to make the planet a better place to live in and other ways people destroy or throw rubbish away.

I am going to enjoy learning new things about the planet Earth.

Recycle.  Reduce.  Reuse.

Later people!

Really looking forward to you telling us more about what you’ve learnt during this unit of inquiry.
