Grade 5 Year review
I am almost done grade 5, this page will be a page that reviews this year.This year my learning goals are to improve my writing skills, my other goal is to improve my organizational . I think I reached my goal of improving my presentation skills because my hand writing is better. I think that I did not reach my goal of improving my writing bvecause my marks for writing was not that good.
This year I think that my best piece of work is doing this math activity called Math Shopping Spree, in this activity we have 10,000 dollars and we go on the internet and buy things, when there is a discount we have to use decimals. I enjoyed doing this piece because it was fun seeing what you can buy.

My favorite subject at school is P.E, I like it because it is a time to relax and play sports, also in P.E y0u do not learn many things so the teacher rarely gets angry.
My least favorite subject is french, I do not like french because you are only allowed to speak french, I hardly understand anything. It is really boring.
This year I am proud of understanding the UOI very well, in my progress report I never got a approaching. Out of all the units I found the child rights unit the most interesting because it is interesting to see how other people live, it is fun to hear other peoples life stories. In this unit we read 2 books, Iqbal and the Breadwinner.

This is a piece of work that I did in the child rights unit.
In the child rights unit, I think I learn the most because in all the units that I did from reception to now none of them are about child rights.
My favorite activity in this year is camp, in camp I had some friends in my group, we also did some really fun activities like raft building. The problem is it is really hot. Some people even got a heat stroke. Everybody tried really hard. The company that my school used is called dragonfly.
I think I did well in the project PSA because my marks were good. I enjoyed it because I think that my PSA made you feel moved because of the sad music and the huge amount of differences in text.

In this year another writing unit we did was poetry, even though my marks on it were not that good it was fun, I enjoyed rhyming words. When we where writing the poems we used writingfun.com to guide us, it is a very useful website.

Overall I think this year was very successful, I learnt alot and I had alot of fun. I think my best day in grade 5 will be the end of year beach party on wednesday. Grade 5 was one of the best years ever.

I read your review and wow, you really did learn alot this year! I really enjoyed your PSA – I found it very moving too. You really made me think about the conditions of children who are being abused……. I also like your persuasive text very much cos it was interesting and convincing.
