My October break was from the 16th of October to the 24th of October. Here’s some things I did:
The favorite thing I did was when I drew a lot of scary pictures for my grade 5 scary Halloween contest door. I drew a picture that says, “Trick or Treat?” and a picture that has a black skeleton that says, “Halloween Disco” on the bottom of it. The funny part was that while I was drawing these pictures, my older brother got his nerf gun (that was from his friend) and shot a few bullets at me! Man, that hurts like mad even though the nerf bullet was soft, the hard part of the bullet hit me and I screamed! 
The second favorite thing I did for my October break was that I went to a great friend of mine’s house is in grade 4. She has the same name as me! We played at her house and I also swam at the clubhouse swimming pool where she lives. There was a water slide there. She also has a younger sister who is 3 years old and she is really adorable and cute (but pretty annoying). We also went to the clubhouse indoor playground to play and to run away from her younger sister when we were playing tag (but her sister was slow so we were basically walking!).
I also went shopping with my mom and dad for Halloween clothes. I’m going to be Hermione Granger for Halloween. My mom doesn’t really know what she’s going to be yet, but I do! I bought a wand, a robe, and a wig for her blond hair because I don’t have blond hair!!! I loved my stuff that I bought and guess what? I’m going to use my dad’s tie to wear it for Halloween because Hermione Granger was wearing her tie in the Harry Potter movie!
The rest of the free time I had for the break, I usually read books or watched T.V. because I love doing both of the
se things!!!

Yes, it did hurt DJ11, but I didn’t cry or anything because it wasn’t like an injection or anything, it was just like you’ve gotten hit by a small rough pebble in a way.
