They understand the importance of intellectual, physical and emotional balance to achieve personal well-being for themselves and others.
Being balanced isn’t about just being healthy. It’s about doing a mixture of both outside of school and in school activities. By doing so, it will help maintain an active, balanced student. Just like what doctors say, an active brain works the best. I believe that I am a balanced student because I am able to do well academically while also able to do/participate in outside of school activities such as drums, guitar and kendo. I am currently working my way towards Honour roll, achieved by achieving a total of 5 with one exception. I am also keeping physically active by doing Kendo every week which lasts a total of 2 hours per lesson. I also play guitar and drums weekly to develop my skills in the arts. Doing well in academics, keeping active and honing my art skills demonstrate that I am able to be a balanced student.
