A challenge that I have recently faced is with running. Previously not being in the best shape, I decided to change this and as a result, aimed to run on a regular basis. Starting off little by little, every week I would increase the distance by 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, and so on. Over time, this allowed me to run for a longer period of time without getting too fatigued, and has also allowed me to increase my pace. However, starting off wasn’t the easiest thing to do. I knew it was going to be a huge commitment, taking out 30-60 minutes out of my day everyday during a packed last year of high school. Because of this, I developed my determination and perseverance skills, making time when there was little to just go outside and run (no matter the weather, no matter the time), and as a result has gotten me to where I am today.
