The Two Most Significant Events of the 20th Century

This year in history class, we had the task of coming up with the 10 most important events in the 20th century. Once we came up with them, we as a group created some sort of presentable timeline that we would share the next day. After everyone presented, we had a small discussion about what we thought the two most important events in 20th century history was, and in the end we decided it was World War 1 and World War 2. We decided that this was the case because we thought that the sheer size of this event was incomparable to other, smaller events. Millions had died, and the world was basically in chaos in both wars.

Below is our presentation, and you can see what we thought were the 10 most important events.
