Back in The Elements

So far Grade 6 has been AWESOME! I’m Lucky to have such a great class with all my friends and a great teacher. Its been a long time since I have wrote on this blog, that just shows you that in Grade 6 there is not much spare time. For the past few weeks Grade 6 has been much more intense than Grade 5. In all subjects our work is harder and we need to put more time and effort into it. So far I think I am doing well to keep up with the work despite playing soccer for 3 hours a day 5 times a week. We have already done a lot of work in a tight schedule and we are already in the middle of our first summative assessment. This unit is about how to deal with conflict that have our values in them. Our central idea is ” Differences In Values Can Cause Conflict That We Choose To Deal With In Different Ways” For our summative assessment we need to make a 2-5 skit which includes our understanding of the unit, and we also need to act like a counsellor and give feedback to other groups on their skits. So far this unit has been great and I’m sure the other ones will be great too. I love the acting part in this unit, its a great way to express ourselves! I’m sure there will be a lot of posts in the next few months, so ENJOY!!!
