Our strategy for the Nervous System Mini Quiz is to fill in a 3 paged worksheet about Nervous System and then using the worksheet to practice for the quiz. To answer the questions on the quiz, we had to research a bit before answering the questions. I choose to work in partners instead of working by my self. We had about 2 periods and the whole weekend to study the worksheet. On the worksheet, there are fill in the blanks questions, sentence questions and diagrams to help us remember all the different vocabulary. I filled in the sheet with my partner Stefanie in less than 2 periods and also watch some Brain Pop videos for more information.
I think this strategy did not work so well for me because I don’t know if the answers are all right on the worksheet I wrote and also I am not good at remembering what I wrote. I rather memorize diagrams and pictures better than memorizing sentences and words. On the first Quiz, I got 9 out of 10, but on the second Brain POP quiz which is so much harder to answer, I got 6 out of 10.
