asdfghjkl do I have no life
I think I don’t
I’ve been browsing around the web for a compilation of how to pronounce Star Names and apparently there doesn’t exist any on the web, apart from how to pronounce the names of constellations right.
I’ve decided to make one, because I have no life it would help astronomy lovers out there, and save them from making a fool out of themselves by pronouncing the names wrong (joking orz)
Holy flying pasta this will take forever, I’ll go by main stars of each and every IAU constellation, then go back and possibly do some other variable stars.
Do take notice that pronunciation varies from different organizations but I’ll go with what the IAU says. because IAU give legit, political astronomy shtick lol Also, no stress markings because I do believe ancient greek/latin does not have stress markings, however if there are feel free to correct me in the comments. I think arabic does have stress markings but I’m not that sure where to put them, again, correct me in the comments.
