Animation

Over the last few days, the class has been working on our summative assessment: which was to make a stop motion animation that shows information about our specific landform. We have been working in groups. My landform is ocean trenches. So far, after about 8 hours of stop motion, we only have about a minute of video. The software we have been using is called SAM Animation and if you would like to try it out, you can download it at this website: http://icreatetoeducate.com/free-download/. It is really hard to do all types of animations, but personally, I think that stop motion animation is the hardest. We have hundreds of unused photos that have been tossed out because they have hands in them, have too big of a movement, or are blurry. Overall, I think that even though stop motion takes a long time, the final product is worth it.
