IB Learner Profile Trait 2: Communicator

The IB defines a communicator as someone who “expresses ideas and information confidently and creatively in more than one language and in a variety of modes of communication.” As seen in these two pieces of evidence, I was able to communicate in a total of 3 languages (including English). The first set of images are proof of my application of communicator skills during a project I had that investigated the history of Hong Kong. We were to provide evidence that we had communicated with a primary source during World War 2. I translated it from Chinese to English for the teachers marking to understand the transcript. The second set of images show my ability to communicate in a different mode of communication: music or sound. I composed a piece to try and tell a story (through music) about a video game character (his lore was very detailed) and his story.
