What’s Happened This Week?

Hey guys! This week has been a lot of fun. We have done loads of work about art.

We made an art called “fauvism art”, which is also called “fauve art”. This kind of art shows harmony, which means everything you put in your art or what you think is right has a reason to be there, everything connects together. Fauve art also has lots of colours. The colours are bright, but where you put them aren’t usually normal though it still make sense. For example The sea could be painted yellow because of the reflection of the sun. It was so fun. I painted a girl that was looking out a window, I will post a picture soon. We have also been working on our portfolios. I put mostly the work that I’m most proud of or the ones i think I need to improve on. We also had to write reflections on each piece of work we put in.

Next week we have a term break, so excited! Though I don’t know what I would do in the spare time….well still looking forward to it! This week has been awesome, I hope the next week in grade 6 would be this fun!
