Welcome To Grade 6!
Hi everybody! Wow! It has been a long time since I have written anything on this blog. This year I am in 6E, we have named our class the 6Elements! I also have the same, best teacher ever! I hope grade 6 is going to be really fun this year!
For these four weeks we have done quite a lot in grade 6 . We already got our new instruments for this year. Some people chose to play the clarinet, some chose to play the trombone, some chose to play the trumpet, and some, well most of the girls including me chose to play the flute! We have also started our first unit for the year. It’s all about different people’s values and different ways to solve conflicts. Our central idea for this unit is: “Differences in values can cause conflict that we choose to deal with in different ways”. We are ending this unit with a big summative assessment. We first have to find a group and work on a skit about a type of conflict. Although we can’t solve the conflict yet because after we act out our skit and film it, the other groups will solve the problem/conflict for us. I think it’s going to be great fun! I have also known about camp this year, it’s very exciting indeed. This year is going to be awesome! Especially with the greatest teacher ever!
