One of the advantages of growing up going to the Canadian International School of Hong Kong is the fact that cultivates proficiency in at least two languages; in my case, it is English and Mandarin. I can communicate in English – my mother tongue – at an exceptionally high level, both in written and verbal communication. As a result, I am planning to take HL Language and Literature as one of my course options for the IB Diploma program. This is consistent with my second language, Mandarin, a language which I am also fluent in.
Communication has always been one of my strengths, and I will continue to hone this skill for the rest of my life.
