To be balanced means to achieve balance between physical, intellectual and emotional aspects to achieve personal well-being. In the intellectual aspect, I was accepted to be a writer for Affinity Magazine in 2016, an online magazine revolving around social justice issues. My acceptance demonstrates my intellectual ability to communicate and think of pitches pertaining to global issues.

In terms of the emotional aspect, I also take art classes weekly and enjoy painting as a way to express myself and relieve stress, fulfilling the emotional aspect of being balanced. My art has also been selected to be part of the Find Arts Studio Exhibitions and I have also been a helper at the exhibitions.

For the physical aspect, I am currently a member of the recently introduced, student-founded jump rope team at CDNIS, allowing me to stay healthy and fit and also interact with different people.
