Today was the SLLR,the SLLR is a day which a student leads there parents through the classroom showing them what they have learnt this year.
The SLLR included in the 10 subjects we were assigned to show. Those subjects were: Performing Arts, Physical Education, Personal And Social, Art, Technology, Literacy, Mathematics, French, Chinese and Unit Of Inquiry. For these subjects, I did finale notepad,my PE tracking sheet, a little bit about me, mosaics, iMovie, my mole book, fractions summative, Paris poster, Chinese essays, and history mini project.
Today my mom learnt a lot about what I did at school this year. We had lots of fun, and she said she was very impressed. This was a very fun learning experience for both of us as this was seen from a students point of view, not a teachers one.

I’m so impressed too! I think it’s particularly awesome that you understand the meaning and the purpose of the SLLR. The fact that you are in charge of the review and not the teacher and that you can imagine what this means to the parents, demonstrates both empathy and dialectical thought. You have shown a deep understanding of the SLLR process through both your brochure (which was amazing), the SLLR itself and this reflection. Well done Dynamo 13!
