This concept may also be important when producing musical pieces and works that you want to sound good for their may be a specific number of spaces that two notes must be in order for a piece or a transition to work.

Chung King Mansions, Refugees, Torture Victims

Hong Kong is one of the few countries that hasn’t signed the refugee agreement, this means that any refugees that come over to Hong Kong and pass the immigration office will be reviewed and sent off to another country that did sign the refugee agreement. Refugees will not be allowed to work in Hong Kong and will not be given a permanent home, they will have to simply wait for their predicament is looked over and confirmed, then they will be shipped out, but this process can take months or even years to finish. If a family of refugees comes over to Hong Kong, there will be a great deal a chance that they will be separated for a long time. When refugees come to Hong Kong and pass immigration, they are given the bare essentials: A place to live, a weekly/monthly supply of food which most likely is outdated.

I managed to use my musical ability to try and make a rhythm that is pleasing to hear. I tried to make use of my newly acquired knowledge of the note beats and how long each note is held. I tried to use a variety of notes to try and get the rhythm to sound pleasing.

I made these 8 bars of melody in attempt to make a melody that would help make my 8 bar rhythm (above) better. The melody is simple, but I think that it will give a bit more quality on the music in the rhythm part.
