D.E.A.D Day

D.E.A.D day stands for drop everything and design day. Everyone in grade 8 had to go to the library and the I.T teachers explained the next design cycle. We had to design a chapter of a ibook about a water problem in a region we chosen. My group choose Eastern Africa as our region. We looked in to Kenya’s water crisis as the lakes are polluted and there is a limited amount of fresh drinking water. I choose to do a interactive map on the ibook as we all had to choose 1 of the 3 roles (Image gallery, Interactive map, Interactive quiz). I think that a solution to the water crisis in Kenya could be solved by a reverse osmosis plant.
