			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>After everything was complete, I had to label all the non-chord tones, cadences, and chords that I had used. Reading the instructions, I labeled the chords, the non-chord tones, dynamics, tempo-changes, and other things I added to my music. But, I was unable to upload it because one of my clefs were muted, and I had to wait until music class to solve it as I had completed the entire composition rather late at night. After I had fixed my technical difficulties, the composition was complete.</p>

I kept it in treble clef since the instrument list did not provide bass clarinet. I tested multiple chords, and used them to harmonize with the piano part. I didn&#8217;t have perfect cadences and plagals on the clarinet, because I did them on the piano part. This stage took a rather long time because there was a lot of confusion between the auto-transpose on Finale and the transposing pitch. But, in the end, I was able to put in chords that matched with the piano section.</p>

I attempted to add as many non-chord tones in the song to complete the requirements of the song, and to create a melody then add chords at the very end to make the song sound as lively as possible. With the melody in place, I tried to find 1-3-5 chords (eg: CEG) and octaves to make the song sound as perfect as possible. I also had to take into account cadences for the end of every 4 bars since it was implemented into the instructions.</p>

Examples would be plagal, cadences, RET, ANT, etc&#8230; After learning more about them and bookmarking some helpful websites, I went to the piano to find some chords that worked well. I decided on my two instruments: the piano and the clarinet. I was hoping that the clarinet would sound bass-like and would provide a nice bass clef and accompaniment to the piano melody. Afterwards, I decided on my key signature and further experimented with some chords using the piano. I plan on commencing the final product the next day or during the next class.</p>
