US Service Sector sees ‘big expansion’

by Janice on March 10, 2012

The US service sector expanded at it’s fastest rate in a year during the month of Feburary. It was the biggest rate of growth since February 2011, exactly a year ago. This sector includes everything from shops to hotels and banks. Over the few years the services sector have been dominating the US economy, with them surpassing the factory industry.

Starbucks is a company that is very much a part of the service sector and with the US service sector increasing and growing every year, this will definitely prove as a benefit to Starbucks. Starbucks has been expanding their stores in different parts of the world but one of their main countries that they’re stationed it is their origin, the United States. With this expansion Starbucks will able to hopefully further expand their stores and push up prices of their products.
