Trail running is a Season 1 sport which goes from August to October. It is offered to students from Grades 9 – 12 with or without experience of the sport!
It is a sport which consists of running and hiking over trails. It differs from road running and track running in that it takes place on hiking trails, often in mountainous terrain, where there can be much larger ascents and descents.
Trail running is a fast development sport at CDNIS and regularly participate in relay races involving both students and teachers. Trail running is excellent preparation for the Season 2 Cross Country Season.
Practice: Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:45pm-5:00pm @ Aberdeen Country Park
