Congratulations to our SEASAC Badminton, Softball and Gymnastic Teams who represented CDNIS so well over the weekend in Singapore, Jakarta and Bangkok. We are proud of your results, but more importantly how you played and performed. You represented CDNIS with pride and you grew the reputation of our school.

Our reputation as a super strong Badminton School was enhanced this weekend by Rachel, Keke, Sincere, Licky, Jenny, Dotty, Dodo, Kristy and Arthur, Matt, Brandon, Bhav, Steven, Nick, Karlson and Matthew. These TWolves Athletes combined to give CDNIS our best Badminton results since 2013/14. With a Silver for the Girls and a Bronze for the Boys; this year CDNIS are the strongest Badminton School in SEASAC! Our Girls were superbly lead by Rachel W and made it through to the semis as 3rd qualifiers. In the Semifinal, a fantastic start by our #1 and #2 seeds set us up an amazing win 4-1 over UWC Dover. In the final, the TWolves played with intensity and integrity giving their best but just going down to host school NIST. This was a fantastic finish to the CDNIS Badminton careers of the 5 graduating players. The Boys also equalled their best SEASAC success since 2013/14 and really deserved their back to back Bronze. In the Bronze medal playoff CDNIS beat hosts NIST in a great 4-1 performance. Several of these matches went to a 3rd set and it was exciting to watch our Singles #3 and Doubles #2 get the job done for the TWolves. This was a fitting way to farewell 6 Seniors from the Boys team, it is going to be an exciting challenge next year for a very new Boys and Girls SEASAC Badminton team as they try to continue the Badminton legacy created over the last few years. Thanks to Coaches Wright and Glacier, and Technical Coaches Lam and Mon for their leadership of this team.

Our small but strong team of SEASAC Senior Gymnasts travelled to Singapore to compete in Level 5 Gymnastics. The dedication, strength and fitness of these 3 girls is amazing, especially when we remember they are all Grade 6/7/8 at CDNIS! Congratulations Jessica, Christine and Mette. Christine came 7th overall with a Gold Medal on the Vault! Jessica came 14th overall with a Bronze on Vault! Mette came 28th overall. These are results to be really proud of as the level of Gymnastics at SEASAC is extremely high. Thanks to Coach Micheal and to Kathrin and Monica for leading the team.

Our Girls Softball team travelled to Bangkok to compete in a combined Div 1/Div 2 competition. Our Girls had a great win over KLASS 26-1 and also had a strong match v Div 1 School RIS, just going down 10-12 in a very spirited performance. After 6 games the girls finished 8th overall (in a 12 team tournament), this is the 4th year in a row that CDNIS have finished 8th in SEASAC Softball! Thanks Coaches Atherton, Schmalenberg and Ngan for leading this team. Please click here for more photos.

Our Boys Softball team battled extreme heat, thunder storms and losing our pitcher on the eve of the tournament to produce strong performances at SEASAC Softball. We had a great victory over BSJ in pool play and fought hard against GIS/ISY/RIS/KLASS. The highlight of our tournament was a thrilling victory in the 5th/6th Play off 18-17 over host BSJ. The Boys really enjoyed their tournament and were a tight unit though out the event. Thanks Coach Holtet and Man for leading this team. Please click here and here for photos.

We can all be very very proud of the way CDNIS SEASAC teams continue to set the standard in sportsmanship and spirit on and off the field; as always our TWolves teams are winning friends as well as winning games.
