Welcome back to school. The Athletic Department hopes you had a great summer holiday and are ready to get back to school and your teams. Season 1 tryouts are the week of August 23rd and the week of August 30th for U12 and U14 Football, U12 Girls Gymnastics, Volleyball, Cross Country, Girls Tackle Rugby and Swimming. Additionally, with our new fitness facility we will run weight training and conditioning sessions for all students. Check the sports schedule for exact days, times and venues.
All Athletes need to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday, August 23rd at 12:45pm in the main gym. U12 Athletes do not need to attend if they are in G 4 and 5.

We’re sad to see season 1 quickly coming to an end. All of our teams have had great seasons and are preparing hard for the upcoming ISSFHK and SEASAC Championships over the next 2 weeks. Season 2 is just around the corner though. Season 2 sports on offer are basketball for U12, U14, U16 and U20. Tennis for our JR and SR teams, Ball Hockey for our SR Boys, Golf for our JR and SR teams, Girls Touch and U16 Boys Rugby and finally our SR boys and girls Squash Team. Tryouts will run from November 8 to November 19. Please check the schedule for all meeting times and venues.

Season 3 sports are just around the corner. This is our final season of the year and we have a lot on offer.
Season 3 Sports: (22 February – 27 April)
Badminton: U12, U14, U16 and U20 Boys and Girls
Track and Field: U12, U14, U16 and U20 Boys and Girls
Softball: U20 Boys and Girls
Football: U20 Boys and Girls
Rugby: U14 Boys
Age category is based upon your child’s age as of 1 Sept. (ie if your child is 11 yrs old on 1 Sept then they compete in the U12 division – if your child is 12 years old on 1 Sept, then they compete in the U14 division)
All students in grade 4 to grade 12 are welcome to attend tryouts in their age category.
Tryouts run from Tuesday 22 February to Friday 4 March only.
Your child must attend all tryouts on the designated day to be eligible for a team.

Your child must be prepared to make a commitment to the team and attend all practices and competitions.
U12’s- Tryouts are Wednesday 23 February and Thursday 24 February from 2:50pm-4pm in Gym 1. The U12 team will only accept a maximum of 10 boys and 10 girls. Regular practices will be on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 2:50pm-4pm. Matches will be played on Tuesday’s. Your child must commit to all practices and competitions.
U14’s- Tryouts are Wednesday 23 February and Thursday 24 February from 4pm-5pm in Gym 1. The U14 team will only accept a maximum of 10 boys and 10 girls. U20’s- Tryouts are Thursday 22 February from 2:50pm-5pm and on Friday 25 February from 2:50pm-5pm in Gym 1. The U16 team will only accept a maximum of 10 boys and 10 girls. Regular practices will be on Tuesday’s and Friday’s from 2:50pm-4pm. Matches will be Wednesday’s or Thursday’s. Your child must commit to all practices and competitions.
Girls tryouts will be held Wednesday 23 February, 2:50pm-4pm on the 6th floor turf and Friday 25 February at Hong Kong U/Sandy Bay from 3pm-4:30pm. All players must attend SEASAC to participate on the team.

U20 Boys: Tryouts will be held on our 6th floor Turf on Tuesday 22 February from 4pm-5pm and on Thursday 24 February from 2:50pm-4:30pm at Wong Chuk Hang Artificial turf. Regular practices will be on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Your child must commit to all practices and competitions.
U14 Boys: Boys tryouts will be held Thursday 24 February from 2:50pm-4pm and on Friday 25 February from 4pm-50pm. Regular practices will be held each Thursday and Friday. All players must commit to all practices.
Track and Field:
First practices will be held on 23 and 24 February at Sandy Bay Track from 3pm-4:30pm. All practices will be held at either CDNIS or Sandy Bay Track at the Stanley Ho Sports Centre at Hong Kong University. Students will be bused from CDNIS to the venue and back again to CDNIS. The bus will depart CDNIS at 2:50pm return to CDNIS at 4pm on Wednesday’s and at 4:45pm on Thursday’s. Students will have to either be picked up from school or take the 5:15pm bus home. Please note the 5:15pm is not a full bus service. Regular practices will be held on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Your child must commit to all practices and competitions to be part of this team.
