What is the CDNIS PORTAL?
The CDNIS PORTAL is an online student management system adopted by CDNIS for student and family management. It is a modular system that allows many of the different tasks performed by school staff to be incorporated into one system. The CDNIS PORTAL can be accessed from any computer that has internet access. Simply type in http://portal.cdnis.edu.hk (please note, do not type in www.)
How do I get my CDNIS PORTAL login and password?
All CDNIS students will have received their CDNIS PORTAL login in and passwords when they first enrol their child to study at CDNIS. For questions or problems logging in please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I register for ASAs?
- General Registration opens on November 20th
- ASA’s will no longer be offered to Pre-Reception students; with the exception of swimming. Reception Students may only register for ASAs in Session 2. Swimmers Grade 1 and below require a parent/guardian escort to their lesson.
Will I receive confirmation of my child’s registration?
Confirmation will be sent to parents via email. Parents are also able to access the CDNIS PORTAL at any time to check their child’s ASA schedule.
How do I pay for my child’s ASAs?
Payment MUST be made by a cheque. Payment must be received prior to the commencement of the activity.
I want to change or cancel my ASA registration, how can I do this?
Any change prior to the commencement of the activity can be made through an email or telephone request without financial penalty. Parents wishing to cancel or change their child’s schedule after the commencement of the session will be charged an administration fee of $1000. Changes made due to in-school activities will not be subject to the penalty.
My child catches the school bus. What do I need to do?
Please contact Sun Bus at 3897 8895 to find the appropriate after school bus for your child. Buses are available at 4:10, 4:20, 5:10 and 5:20. Please note that the 5:10 and 5:20 bus routes have limited service and no bus mother.
My child catches the school bus. What does CDNIS do?
At the end of the ASA, either CDNIS staff or service providers escort children to the 7/F bus departure area and 9/F Main School Lobby. CDNIS staff will be present on the 7/F and ensure children get on the correct bus.
I want to pick up my child after their ASA. How can I do this?
Parents are welcome to pick up their child from ASAs by waiting in the 9/F Main School Lobby or by meeting their child at the activity venue.
My child is young and doesn’t know where the ASA is located. I’m worried they may miss their activity or get lost.
All homeroom teachers have a list of after school activities being taken by their students and are reminding children daily of their ASA schedules.
Each day after school CDNIS staff escort students to their ASA as follows
Prep – Grade 1: All session
Grade 2 – 4: First 2 weeks
Students in Pre Rec and Reception must be have a parent or caregiver on site. Swimmers Grade 1 and below require an adult escort.
Can my child wear their PE uniform or Team kit on days of ASAs?
No. All students must wear their CDNIS school uniform to school and change into their activity uniform at the end of the school day.
