Upcoming Performances

A new year brings with it an exciting and  beautiful repertoire of music for the choir to perform. The choir will be learning a mix of pop, contemporary, and classical music aimed for students to have fun and  work hard to develop their vocal skills. In March, we will be performing at the Alan Dick Memorial Walk and in May, the Festival of the Arts. We also hope to squeeze in a performance or two at grade assemblies.

In the Practice! Practice! Practice! page you will find music videos of two contemporary songs that we are practicing. More music to be posted in the near future. Choir members who wish to have a copy of the sheet music for home practice, simply ask me or Ms. Chen for a copy.

The Winter Concert

The Junior Choir’s hard work paid off during Remembrance Day. Their heartfelt performance and beautiful singing touched the audience. We hope to repeat such a wonderful performance at the Sai Wan War Ceremony on December 8th. Great job choir!

With a successful Remembrance Day performance under our belt, we will need to work triple hard for the Winter Concert. We will be performing a Christmas Pop Trio on December 10th! The lyrics and the song are now posted on the Practice! Practice! Practice! page. To the Junior Choir, please remember  where we have cut the song when you practice at home. Also, please note that we sing in one key (the original song has the key change) during “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”. It’s time to sing joyously and cheerfully!
