Upcoming Performances

by mayacontreras on January 14, 2014

A new year brings with it an exciting and  beautiful repertoire of music for the choir to perform. The choir will be learning a mix of pop, contemporary, and classical music aimed for students to have fun and  work hard to develop their vocal skills. In March, we will be performing at the Alan Dick Memorial Walk and in May, the Festival of the Arts. We also hope to squeeze in a performance or two at grade assemblies.

In the Practice! Practice! Practice! page you will find music videos of two contemporary songs that we are practicing. More music to be posted in the near future. Choir members who wish to have a copy of the sheet music for home practice, simply ask me or Ms. Chen for a copy.

In just two rehearsals, the choir has made very good progress! We have already produced some nice harmonies and have gotten “the hang” of the melody.
