This month, the Grade 11/12 Student CAS Committee would like to introduce you to grade 12 IB Diploma Candidate: Keishel Lee. One word to sum Keishel Lee as a notable CAS student: Balance. Keishel plans to pursue music in university. Most of her Creativity hours are music-related, including symphonic winds band, Chinese orchestra, acapella choir and piano lessons. “I enjoy my music related activities, especially symphonic winds band because it brings a group of talented musicians together from different grades which allows us to meet new people and perform with students of different ages. I enjoy collaborating with each other to create music which is then performed to students, parents and teachers at the Winter Concert, Evening of the Arts and so on.” Being more than a passionate musician, she also takes part in Interact club to plan events throughout the year, and is a member of the Yearbook Club to design pages and help put the yearbook together. For Service hours, Keishel was part of the Cambodia CAS Week trip last year where she helped build houses for families in need and teach English to a group of Cambodian school kids. She also went to the Habitat For Humanity trip to China last December to build houses.
